Alright guys, we have been a little quiet around here lately, perhaps we are still recovering from the All Blacks awesome effort over RWC, but it would seem that the mercury is finally starting to rise, cue summer, cue bungy and swing madness, it’s all on!
Now we’re a pretty lucky bunch here in Taupo, we’ve got the biggest and possibly the best (yes, we are biased) watering hole in New Zealand. Thousands of kiwis flock to the glassy shores of Lake Taupo every summer to splash about and cool off.
But while we’re all quick to dive head first into the cool waters of the Great Lake, there are other means by which to cool off, and by that we mean New Zealand’s highest water touch bungy.
Heard about it, thought about it, but something’s stopped you from taking the plunge? Well we think you guys are finally out of excuses. What better time to take the leap than on a scorching hot Kiwi summer day. Guys feel free to ditch the tee and girls if you’re that way inclined, go for it, our crew don’t mind, especially you aye Courtney?
While you’re about to go the whole hog you may want to consider joining the Sole Club. This club is seriously exclusive and only for those brave enough to dive into the water all the way down to the soles of their feet.
It’s only for the hard core and does take a fair amount of precision from our super sharp Jump Masters, but if you’re game, we’re game.
Bungy not your thing? No problem, become a swinger. The Taupo Cliffhanger is the ultimate swing experience, packed full of stomach-dropping adrenaline, screams, excitement and more buzz than you can shake a stick at & while we’re on the topic, Happy 2nd Birthday Taupo Cliffhanger.
Those of you who just like to watch other people bungy or swing, (cough cough scardy cats) have we got something for you. Instead of craning your neck over the platform watching your mates do their thing, jump in front of our awesome new green screen and “Fake It”.
Why should the loyal spectators miss out on all the fun? Jump in front of the Fake It screen and act out ‘til your little heart’s content then send the pictures to family and friends showing them just how brave and awesome you really are.
There’s also some pretty cool stuff happening here at Taupo Bungy in 2012, so you’re definitely going to want to keep checking in. We’re not giving anything away yet, but let us tell you this; it’s BIG!
