Taupo bungy is like any other workplace with its technology needs
We have about 20 staff on the books, 8 ppl working everyday usually. We do have our basic needs like every one else, we’ve got a local network for a few workstations, used for normal office stuff email, spreadsheets, word processing for this we have 5pc`s
And then you have our point of sales terminals 3 more pcs. Then there is our video system, 8 video cameras, a mixing desk, ptz controller, 2 macs another pc, 3 keyboard and mice, 5 monitors, 4 dvd burners and one person. If u think u can multi task try working in there on a busy day ladies.
Now comes the photo system….all up there are 5 still cameras each controled by its own pc, the photo operator who is surounded by 4 more pcs each has its own monitor,keyboard etc plus a few extra extended display monitors.
So all up we are looking at 2 macs, 12 keyboards, 12 mice, 4 DVD burners, 13 cameras, 18 pcs and 23 monitors, typically used by only 6 people on any given day. And then there is the 2 networks which it all runs on.
Oh and not to mention the TV’s, DVD players and CCTV system.
So yeah we have a couple of Computers out back. And we seem to be geting more each day. Its my job to make sure they are all working every day, without fail. My name is george and I am Taupo Bungys IT fella.
